The ZUHAUSELADEN solution covers all operational management and billing services for your home wallbox. This means that the amount of electricity charged is reimbursed at your home electricity rate. For analysis purposes, you can also log in to the FIRMENLADEN platform.

    1. Complete the preliminary check “ZUHAUSELADEN”
Alternatively, you can hire your own electrician to install the wallbox.
    2. Order the wallbox via FIRMENLADENWELT
    3. Get access to the FIRMENLADEN platform
The account is created automatically – you just need to set a password.
Important: FIRMENLADENWELT and the FIRMENLADEN platform are two different sites with separate logins.
    4. Charging card is sent automatically
    • When ordering a wallbox: The company car charging card and partner card are delivered together with the wallbox.
    • Without ordering a wallbox: The card will be sent automatically (provided that a charging card was requested) and delivery may take up to 10 business days.

You can commission an electrician of your choice to install the wallbox or use the FIRMENLADEN installation team. This can be requested via the “Use cases” section in FIRMENLADENWELT.

A wallbox usually requires a three–phase connection with a voltage of 400 volts. This allows for three–phase charging. With a current of 16 amps, a charging capacity of 11 kW can be achieved. Feel free to check this using our preliminary check tool.

The wallbox has a power output of 11 kW and must be registered (not approved) with the grid operator. This can be done online with almost all grid operators and is usually carried out by the installer.

The relevant instructions for commissioning and configuration can be found in the “Installation Instructions” section.

Annual maintenance of the wallbox is recommended, but not mandatory in private homes.

Weights and measures law provides the basis for ensuring that measurement results are displayed and billed correctly. The electricity meter in charging stations is a measuring device subject to calibration, and the display of the charging station’s electricity meter is also subject to weights and measures law as an additional device within the meaning of Section 3 No. 24b of the German Weights and Measures Act (MessEG). After completing the charging process, the user must be able to check how much electrical energy they have consumed, how long the charging process took, and how the price was calculated based on the measured kWh and/or time value. The transfer of the measured values from the charging station to the backend must also be tamper-proof.

Charging stations that comply with calibration law are not currently mandatory for reimbursement at home, but are strongly recommended for safety reasons for users and companies and for future security.

Malfunctions can be caused by a vehicle, supply line problems, user errors, connectivity issues, or the wallbox itself. The wallbox is not always directly responsible.

The first step is to disconnect the wallbox from the power supply by removing the fuse. If restarting the device does not help, please contact our FIRMENLADEN service team via the “Use cases” section in FIRMENLADENWELT. We will get in touch with you immediately.

From a technical perspective, all wallboxes that support the standard OCPP 1.6 protocol can be integrated. However, if your employer only allows the connection of calibration law–compliant charging stations, then compliance with these legal requirements is also a prerequisite.

You can use the corresponding compatibility check tool in the “Use Cases” section of FIRMENLADENWELT to verify your existing wallbox. This will provide you with a verified assessment specifically for your device.

Refunds are made monthly. You will receive your credit note by the 15th of the month after next at the latest (example: October statement, credit note by December 15 at the latest).

The wallbox is activated by authorizing it with a charging card.

Please use the corresponding tool in the “Use cases” section of FIRMENLADENWELT. Here you can conveniently upload your new electricity tariff with the corresponding order confirmation from your energy supplier. You will then be reimbursed for your charging electricity volumes at the new electricity tariff.

Yes, with the FIRMENLADEN partner card supplied by FIRMENLADEN, it is possible to activate a charging process at the wallbox that is not reimbursed by the company. This means, for example, that a private electric vehicle can be charged at the wallbox.

FIRMENLADEN-platform: your own portal with separate login.

The FIRMENLADEN-platform is an independent portal and is not identical to FIRMENLADENWELT. You need a separate password to use it, as it is a separate account.

The account is automatically created for you during user registration – no separate registration is required. When you log in for the first time, you simply need to assign your own password.

Please inform your fleet manager and return your charging card. The operational management and reimbursement service will be deactivated at the earliest possible date after notification by the fleet manager of FIRMENLADEN. If your company guidelines allow it, you can then continue to use the wallbox privately. This may require simple configurations of the wallbox (e.g., storing a new charging card). This must be done on site.

There are various approaches to combining your energy management system with your wallbox, depending on the supported functions and communication interfaces of your wallbox and energy management system. Here are some common options:

Check the communication interfaces: Check the technical specifications of your wallbox and energy management system to find out which communication interfaces they support. These can be Modbus, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or other protocols, for example.

API integration: Some wallboxes and energy management systems offer APIs (application programming interfaces) that allow them to be connected to each other. The API allows you to exchange data between the systems, such as information about the battery’s state of charge, current energy consumption, and available solar power. This allows you to control the energy management system to adjust the charging speed of the wallbox according to the available resources.

Use of a common data protocol: If your wallbox and energy management system support the same data protocol, you can exchange data directly between the systems. This could be done, for example, by configuring parameters such as IP addresses, ports, and transmission protocols.

Use of additional hardware: In some cases, it may be necessary to use additional hardware such as interface modules or gateways to establish communication between the wallbox and the energy management system. This hardware can serve as an intermediary and transfer data between the two systems.

It is important to note that the specific steps for integrating your energy management system with your wallbox depend on the specific models and their supported functions. It is therefore best to consult the support teams of the relevant manufacturers and your PV installation partner for detailed instructions and information on integration.

Various communication interfaces are available for connecting your solar system to your wallbox. Here are some common options:

Modbus: Modbus, a widely used communication protocol, allows your wallbox and your PV system to communicate with each other. This provides you with information about the current energy yield of your PV system and allows you to adjust the charging speed accordingly.

Ethernet/LAN: A connection via Ethernet or LAN enables data exchange between your wallbox and your PV system. This allows you to control the charging speed based on the current energy yield of your PV system.

WLAN: A wireless WLAN connection allows your wallbox and your PV system to communicate with each other. This allows data to be exchanged in order to adjust the charging speed according to the current energy yield of your PV system.

RS485: RS485 is a serial communication standard that is often used in building automation. Via RS485, your wallbox can receive information about the energy yield of your PV system and control the charging speed accordingly.

These interfaces enable the exchange of information between your wallbox and your PV system in order to maximize the self–consumption of the solar power generated and reduce dependence on grid power. Please note that the exact availability of the interfaces depends on the specific models and manufacturers of your wallbox and PV system.

Companies

1. Integrate charging infrastructure rules into Car Police.

2. Decide on authorization rights for user groups.

3. Provide training materials and access to FIRMENLADENWELT for employees.

4. For billing at home: conclude a reimbursement agreement with employees.

5. Employees receive a charging card after successful registration on the FIRMENLADEN platform.

The FIRMENLADEN solution covers the areas of COMPANY STORES, HOME STORES, and ON–THE–GO STORES. Thus, FIRMENLADENWELT provides a charging solution that covers all use cases with a single system. FIRMENLADEN also implements projects holistically, from conception and planning to turnkey implementation, and subsequently provides operational management, billing, and maintenance.

The company can divide employees into charging groups and grant authorization rights as desired (e.g., exclusive use for fleet vehicle owners, provision for private electric vehicles, etc.).

When registering on the FIRMENLADEN platform, the employee must select the option to have the charging card delivered. The charging card will then be sent to the employee by FIRMENLADEN.

Reimbursement agreement & plausibility check

By registration, the reimbursement agreement is automatically accepted.

Optionally, mileage recording can also be activated for all company car drivers. Employees enter their mileage at specified intervals in FIRMENLADENWELT. This allows a plausibility check to be carried out, in which the kilowatt hours charged are compared with the mileage driven.

Misuse protection & detection of irregularities

Charging a private electric vehicle via the company car-related reimbursement is not permitted and is equivalent to unauthorized fuel consumption.

In addition, potential irregularities in charging processes at home can be detected and checked via the FIRMENLADEN platform.

For consumer protection reasons, systems that comply with calibration regulations are mandatory in Germany for volume–based billing (e.g., €/kWh) with different users. This means that with a system that complies with calibration regulations, you will continue to be secure and legally compliant in the future, provided that billing is not currently taking place.

The deactivation of the wallbox at home and the employee’s charging card should be reported by the fleet department to FIRMENLADEN. The reimbursement of the employee’s charging electricity will then be deactivated at the earliest possible date. The wallbox can then be used offline by the former employee, provided this is permitted by the company. The charging card will then also be deactivated.

FIRMENLADEN reimburses the employee for the amount including VAT and invoices the employer for the same amount, but does not show the VAT separately. In the German Value Added Tax Act, this is stated in §4 (3)

“(3) Amounts collected and spent by the entrepreneur on behalf of and for the account of another person (transitory items) are not included in the remuneration.”

Accordingly, the employer may not reclaim VAT on this, which is why it is not shown separately on the invoice.

From a purely technical standpoint, all charging stations that support the OCPP 1.6 standard protocol can be connected. However, it is recommended that only charging stations that comply with calibration regulations be used. Accordingly, compliance with calibration regulations would also be a basic requirement for connection.

At the company’s premises, at the wallbox at the respective employee’s home, provided that the ZUHAUSELADEN product is used, and at public charging stations throughout Europe.

Additional loading cards can be reordered in the “Use cases” section using the corresponding tool.

Provided that the RFID cards comply with the Mifare Desfire standard, they can usually be integrated. Before each integration, FIRMENLADEN is happy to carry out an integration test with a card.

The employee is obliged by the reimbursement agreement to report any changes in their private household electricity tariff to FIRMENLADEN immediately using the corresponding tool in the “Use cases” section. The new household electricity tariff will then be stored in the system on the relevant date and reimbursed.

1. Reimbursement agreement (for reimbursement of the amount of electricity charged at home)

2. Transfer agreement (if the wallbox at home is paid for or subsidized by the company).
